New events occur in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, day 763

 





,,. As clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces continue, new developments have emerged that mark another turbulent day in the conflict.

 

 **Escalation of attacks:** 

 

There was reportedly a significant escalation in attacks when Russia attacked Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, causing casualties. The attack, which authorities said involved a new type of guided bomb, killed at least one person and injured 19 others.. In addition, attacks escalated in other regions. Bombings and drone strikes killed three people, including  a 12-year-old boy. Mykolaiv, a coastal area, was also hit by a Type 

 ballistic missile, injuring eight people.**Countermeasures and Resilience:** 

 In response to the attacks, the Ukrainian Air Force attacked Russian forces and successfully intercepted and shot down ten  of the thirteen  Shahed drones designed by the attackers in Iran. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed solidarity with frontline troops and visited the northeastern Sumy region, where he inspected defenses and met with wounded soldiers to reaffirm Ukraine's steadfast resolve. 

 

 **Legal Action and Diplomatic Efforts:** 

 Amid the chaos, legal action came when a Russian court sentenced Lyusya Shtein, a member of Pussy Riot and a former Moscow local MP, to six years in prison for her outspoken criticism of the movement condemned invasion. Meanwhile, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte called on Chinese President Xi Jinping to use his influence over Russia to achieve peace in Ukraine, highlighting the conflict's broader impact on Europe and China. 

 

 

**International relations and safety protocols:** 

 Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba visited India for two days to deepen diplomatic ties and engage in talks on urgent world issues, such as the current conflict.Simultaneously, the Russian secret service FSB had two spies arrested in Kiev and Odessa, according to the Ukrainian security service, which also charged them with spying. 

 

 **Emergency Support Calls:** 

 President Zelensky of Ukraine made frantic pleas to allies to expedite the delivery of fighter planes and air defence equipment in order to bolster Ukraine's defence capabilities as the crisis intensified. Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, rebuffed these requests, claiming that such delivery would not alter the battlefield's power dynamics.
