the MHA has provided security to Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. Security provided on the basis of IB report. Many political parties including PMC are creating a ruckus at this time. IB's threat perception report had come in on the basis of which security is now being provided.
Election Commission of India, the Chief of the Election Commission Raj Kumar gets additional security. Security beefed up after an IB report suggested that there could be a threat perception against Rajiv Kumar. Jendra Bahadur, our correspondent joining us for more on that. What was the basis of this pumped up security for him?
Well, you have a center giving additional security to Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. Now we know elections are just around the corner in it starts on the 19th of April and at a time like this it's eminent that the election commission officials usually face fire among political party workers on the ground and for the chief of the election commission Rajiv Kumar it appears the IB has released a report that significantly shows a threat perception on him.
In fact the security has been provided based on that IB report. Many political parties including the TMC right now creating a ruckus asking for an election commission officer to be changed in fact particularly saying all Central agencies including the Ed the EC the CBI the it all Central agencies Chiefs must be changed this is what the TMC has asked for but while those protests escalate we're looking at the center issuing additional orders to give additional security for Rajiv Kumar Election Commission chief
